Cookies

Some of our web pages use cookies. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies help to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and safer. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain in your device’s memory until you delete them. These cookies make it possible to recognize your browser on your next visit. You can configure your browser to inform you about the use of cookies so that you can decide on a case-by-case basis whether to accept or reject a cookie. Alternatively, your browser can be configured to automatically accept cookies under certain conditions or to always reject them, or to automatically delete cookies when closing your browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.

Cookies, which are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions you wish to use (e.g. shopping basket function), are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 letter f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of his services. As far as other cookies (e.g. cookies for the analysis of your surfing behaviour) are stored, they are treated separately in this data protection declaration.

Server log files

The website provider automatically collects and stores information that your browser automatically transmits to us in “server log files”. These are:

  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

The data processed before we receive your request may still be legally processed. We will retain the data you provide on the contract form until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for storage or the purpose for which the data is stored no longer applies (e.g. after your enquiry has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – shall remain unaffected.

4. Analytics and advertising

Analysis tool Matomo (formerly Piwik)

Our website uses Matomo. This is a so-called web analysis service. Matomo uses “cookies” as well. The usage information generated by the cookie (including your shortened IP address) is transferred to our server and stored for usage analysis purposes. Your IP address is immediately anonymized during this process, so that you as a user remain anonymous to us. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website will not be disclosed to third parties. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.

If you do not agree with the storage and evaluation of this data from your visit, you can object to its storage and use at any time. In this case a so-called opt-out cookie is stored in your browser, which means that AdWords does not collect any session data. Attention: If you delete your cookies, this means that the opt-out cookie will also be deleted and may have to be reactivated by you.

This website uses Google AdWords. AdWords is an online advertising program from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (“Google”). In the context of Google AdWords we use the so-called conversion tracking. When you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie is set for conversion tracking. Cookies are small text files that your internet browser stores on your computer. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification of the user. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to that page.

Every Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. The cookies cannot be tracked on the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to compile conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking.

Customers are informed about the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a conversion tracking tag page. However, you will not receive information that can be used to personally identify users. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can object to this use by slightly deactivating the Google Conversion Tracking cookie via your Internet browser under User Settings. They will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.

The storage of “conversion cookies” is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the analysis of user behavior in order to optimize both his website and his advertising. More information about Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking can be found in the Google Privacy Policy: https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/.
